iPad iCloud and apple id are different

My friend has an iPad 2 and updated to iOS 8.1. He entered his apple id with password and entered a different email id for iCloud. This email that he put in for iCloud is an email id he doesn't have or doesn't use. It keeps on showing verifying on the iCloud settings. How can i remove this?

If you look under "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" do you get an option to sign out or delete the account?
