iCloud and iTunes on Snow Leopard Computer

I have MobileMe with a MacBook with Snow Leopard and new MBA with Lion. The MacBook is my primary computer, where I have my iTunes library and sync an iPhone and iPods. I cannot upgrade the MacBook to Lion because of problems remotely accessing a work related network with Lion. Can I migrate from MobileME to iCloud on the MacBook Air with Lion, and then use iCloud with iTunes on the MacBook/Snow Leopard computer? I would be grateful for advice.
