iCloud and Snow Leopard

I'm using SL 10.6.8. I have a MobileMe account. Today my MM started allowing me to move my mail, contacts, calendars and bookmarks to iCloud.
I haven't yet. I want to stick with SL and not upgrade to Lion.
So I'm hoping this is a sign that eventually SL users will have access to iCloud.
Anyone else on SL get this notice?

Never mind

I clicked on the box to move the items to iCloud. There are seven steps. On the fourth step it said I needed to be running Lion 10.7
I am still holding out hope for 10.6.9 to allow me to move to iCloud.

There are a few threads on using Mail, iCal and Contacts with SL. I never had a mobileme account so I don't know anything about migrating, but I've set up a me.com email address, iCal and (sort of) Contacts/Address book, and with the possible exception** of Contacts/Address Book it seems to be working fine. The me.com email address is really useful.

Happy reading, and... **don't be surprised if you get a load of duplicate contacts in your address book, cos I don't think Apple have quite got it sorted for SL users.
