iCloud archives e-mails only for 6 months???

I tried to find an e-mail of February 14th (which I put in 'Archive' back then) but iCloud can't find it... It only goes back to February 27th.

Is it a coincidence that this is exactly 6 months ago?
Does it mean that iCloud only keeps e-mails for 6 months, even though they are in Archive?

Perhaps any ideas where I still might find that e-mail. It's very important... 🙁

My archive folder contains messages over a year old, so iCloud definitely doesn't have any display limitations. Are you sure you archived it? It doesn't work like Gmail where any message that isn't explicitly deleted will show up there. If you filed it in another folder, you'll need to find it there.
