You would think but no. It's in the mail app after you press "edit".

Move iCloud to the bottom. The iCloud at the bottom, under accounts. Not the folder structure.
But after changing that setting, anywhere I need to compose an email would use the default account I nominate, no matter which.

I believe my setting is the correct one, and I don't need to mess up with display order, as in iOS 10, you cannot use your method anymore.

Update: sorry for wrong info. You can still reorder account display order in iOS 10, just a little bit tricky as you need to collapse all accounts before re ordering them.

I'll address iOS 10 when it gets here. For now. My way is the only way to close your app and make sure it opens to the account you want it to.

The default "compose" account is something else. That's in settings under mail.

icloud defaulting as first email a problem? Here's the solution!

In ios 6, open the mail app. Go back to mailboxes view. Press edit in the top right. Now rearrange your accounts putting the one you want to be open on app open at the top and vola!
hope that helps!

I have had this happen recently, as well. I just did the above. We'll see if it helps!

While I am also sure mine also can finish the job. Yours is not the only way to achieve this.
