iCloud backup - didn't work?

Hey all. I grabbed my X and went through the initial setup including restoring from iCloud backup. But later upon completion my apps aren't there, no pictures, etc. Its not done at all. How can I restart this process with the X to try again?

Or am I missing something?

Is your iCloud backup the same iOS version as your iPhone X? If not, that is why.

Ah nice. 11.1 on X and 11.0.3 on the 7 plus. So I will update 7plus to this one and then do a backup. How can I restart the X from scratch to grab the latest iCloud update?

I would wipe the phone and start over.
