Icloud backup upload bandwitth usage

Hallo,

when my idevices are are connected with WiFi and connected to electricity, they start after a while to backup to iCloud.

I noticed that the bandwidth usage upload to iCloud is that high (about 2 Mbit/s) that my router automatically resets the internet-connection for a while.

Does anybody recognize this problem and know what I can do about it?
