iCloud backup

When iCloud does its auto backup how many archived copies are kept and where can I confirm them? I only see the most recent one listed for my device.

iCloud backup doesn't archive backups. As you've seen, there is only one backup kept per device.

As you been told, iCloud does not archive backups, however, iTunes does. Make sure you backup both ways to be safe.
