Not sure if this is the right forum to ask, but still... A friend's iPad has accidentally ended up in the dumpster, and by the time they figured this out it was already too late. They are very basic users, so they asked me to help them track the iPad, or, at the very least, restore the photos. Since they live in a different city, I had to to this remotely via TeamViewer.

We stared from logging into their iCloud in the browser. The lost device did not appear in My Devices or Find My iPhone apps, so tracking was not possible. They are not sure what iOS version did it run or whether any of its photos have made it to the Photos app. At the same time, they have 50 GB iCloud storage, and their backups exceed 13 GB. To me, the next logical thing was to browse the backups and see if perhaps the iPad that they trashed has actually synchronized itself to the iCloud at some point.

However, when I logged into System Preferences - iCloud on their Mac and clicked Manage, I could only see one backup from one of their iPhones, and it was only 1.5 GB. So, what about other 11.5 GB of backups visible in the iCloud.com? Is there any way to view them?
