I'm so happy iCloud Drive (iDisk) is back!

It's not even clear that iCloud drive can be used as a general storage solution. All the marketing only talks about storing "documents", which is a tiny fraction of what I would want to store.

I was just in my icloud beta and clicking on icloud drive it gives the option to drag items into the browser to upload. I tried documents, photos and videos and they uploaded fine. You have to create the folders on icloud though because if you any of these in a folder you get an error that says you have to compress it. Possibly you can create the folders on the desktop program, will have to see.

So obviously you can store different types of files which is good.

I do not see access to the photo stream on icloud. They are probably going to keep it separate (access wise).

In iCloud drive you can store the same things you can store on your hard disk, and these things are called "documents". If you can store sandwiches on your disk please let me know

No, but there is an app for a 3D printer than can print a sandwich out for you. In-app purchases will allow for other food choices.

Well, that's a start. Nice seeing all the devices you're logged into. Would be nicer to be able to disconnect or de-authorize them.
