iCloud - cannot sync mail

Hi!

I have the latest Lion on both my iMac and my Air, and I use Mail for mail. So far I have not been able to sync *any* mail. I followed a tip I found somewhere here (I couldn't find it again 😱) and deleted my iCloud accounts from Mail, then re-enabled "Mail & Notes" in iCloud, went to both computers and clicked "Synchronize 'iCloud'", but nothing happened. Nothing ever happens. 😛

Could someone help me?
