I'm not a developer but my results with my iCloud enabled apps like

Due
Day One
Downcast

and more all work fine from a user perspective. This is good because I hear the documentation for iCloud could be a lot better. I'm guessing that much improved documentation about "Documents in the Cloud" will be furnished by WWDC as things get finalized and more developers will jump in.
