iCloud constantly asking for two-factor id even though Safari is trusted

I am regularly being asked to use two-factor authentication when logging in to iCloud on Mac Safari, even though every time I log out I make sure the "Trust this browser" box is ticked.

It does not happen every time, just enough times for it to be annoying!

Safari Version 12.0.1 (14606.2.104.1.1)
MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.1 (18B75)
