I think a while ago I must have synced my contacts with Facebook (in the FB app you can click 'Sync' under your friends list. I have this turned off now).
It added a short url under every contact (fb://profile/XXX...) which I went through and manually deleted from my contacts, yet I've just gone in to discover they're all back. And I don't know why.
I logged into iCloud.com and did it again so I hope they're gone for good. Just not sure why they appear when I have syncing OFF now!
