I have an iPad 2, iPhone 4 and Macbook AIR. I just updated my Macbook today and installed iCloud. It then synced my contacts with only a 'merge' option. Well that duplicated every contact on the laptop to the cloud. Then of course my iPhone and iPad also had duplicate contacts.
So I want to restore my contacts to some sanity. I get all my contacts from Outlook. I was able to restore the contacts but iCloud can't play well with syncing to Outlook. Basically it's one or the other. In my case I have disabled iCloud contacts, I maintain all my contacts using Outlook and just want them replicated to my iOS devices.
