iCloud Contacts will not sync on MacBook

I have been having a hell of a time trying to figure this out the past few months but my contacts will not sync between my iPhone & iPad to my MacBook. I've check on all my devices that the default account is set to iCloud.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? The contacts sync fine between iPhone and my iPad...

Go to iCloud setting. Turn off Contacts syncing. If you're sure the contacts are correct in iCloud go ahead and let it delete the contacts on the MacBook. Then turn on Contacts syncing again.

Glad it worked. I had to do that myself yesterday to force my iPad to sync Contacts. Weird.

For anyone else who finds this: it still works! I just used it to solve the same problem with OS X 10.12 (Sierra). Got rid of the nagging "CoreDav Error" message...finally!!
