iCloud could not be activated error

Does anyone else see this iCloud error flash for a second when setting up a new mac, right after signing in with your Apple ID? Seen it happen over a variety of devices for the last couple years. Flashes for a second then goes away.

I've seen it occasionally, but can connect to the server usually within a few minutes. You can check Apple System Status page if you're getting that message for an extended period.

I am still seeing this occasionally when setting up new devices (other people's too). Anyone else?

That looks like a familiar window. I've seen it a couple of times myself when resetting devices but I don't think the setup ever failed in the end.
