iCloud crashes out when logging in on iPhone

Hi folks, got a bit of a problem so hope someone can help.....

i can now log in to the iCloud website using my apple id (used for iTunes, app store etc) which is an expired .mac account. when i try to set up iCloud on my iPhone 4 (ios5) it just crashes back to the home screen as soon as i put in my password. reset done etc.... any ideas??

Same thing here, except I'm using an expired me.com account. I can log in fine on the web.
