I have a feeling iCloud is eating up a lot of GB's on my Verizon data plan. What can I temporary disable on my iPad & Macbook Pro until I get home. I have Mifi and I updated the plan to 10 GB's for the month and I've already used 9 GB's within 21 days. I'm not watching any movies and limited ourselves on youtube.

ICloud backup and photostream is wifi only.

ICloud doesn't use appreciably more bandwidth unless you manually override.

OP mentioned that he's using a Mifi. So the phone would think that its on Wifi, and enable these. You can disable the iCloud Backup under Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup. One level up to disable photo stream. Do you use iTunes Match? That can add up too.

No, I don't use iTunes Match. Do I disable iCloud on the iPad?
