Ok I've tested out betas on my everyday devices before and when reverted back to the proper iOS everything worked perfectly this time I've problems with Documents & Data not showing up. Under storage it shows up but in my apps there is nothing available. It looks like the data is still there in the cloud but apps no longer accessing it as you can see in my image below. Is there any way of retrieving this data to use again? Thanks in advance

For what it's worth, I did it for free by going to icloud.com on a computer and emailing the documents I needed to myself. You have to do the documents one at a time, so it's not a good solution if you need to bring over a lot, but it saves you from having to purchase anything.

I'm sure that Apple will have a solution for this when iOS 8 is released, so if you can hold on for a little while then it might be quick and easy.

The data is still there but iOS 7 is not able to retrieve it, thats why your apps couldn't access it :) iOS 8 and Yosemite use icloud drive, whereas previous versions used Documents and data. It's all really confusing and messy right now.

If you activate iCloud drive in iOS8, iCloud it's unusable in iOS7 (Documents and data) and no solution, wait to iOS 8 final.

I think there was a problem with the "backend" of syncing. I was having the same problem and contacted Apple. The supervisor I spoke to said my Document and Data syncing was "locked." He asked if I had enabled iCloud Drive (I had not), so he escalated the issue to engineering. After a few days, engineering asked for some log files and such. Then, the day after, everything started working again. (Others have reported it suddenly working again - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1766811/)

So, long story short, I think Apple may have fixed whatever "backend" problem was present. They may have also enabled some iOS 8/Yosemite to iOS 7/Mavericks compatibility (especially considering they may not be released at the same time, so the majority of people running iOS 8 will still be running Mavericks).

I didnt activate iCloud drive and I've got the same problem..
