In order to provide iCloud file download links to coworkers or clients, for the moment I'm using the "iOS way":
Hence my question:
Is there a way to produce the cloud download link for a given file in the iCloud folder directly on the Mac, e.g. via AppleScript or via the terminal?
Is anybody aware of an already existing script (or a OSX app) that can do this?
- On my Mac I copy the file into GoodReader's documents folder inside the iCloud directory ("Mobile Documents").
- On the iPhone I open GoodReader and create a mail with the link to the uploaded file ("Publish"). I send the mail to myself or save it as draft.
- On the Mac I compose the mail for the recipient and copy-paste the link from GoodReader's mail into it. (I don't like composing mails on the iPhone.)
