In order to provide iCloud file download links to coworkers or clients, for the moment I'm using the "iOS way":

  1. On my Mac I copy the file into GoodReader's documents folder inside the iCloud directory ("Mobile Documents").
  2. On the iPhone I open GoodReader and create a mail with the link to the uploaded file ("Publish"). I send the mail to myself or save it as draft.
  3. On the Mac I compose the mail for the recipient and copy-paste the link from GoodReader's mail into it. (I don't like composing mails on the iPhone.)
This works nicely so far, however, I would prefer to produce the download link directly on the Mac, without the need to involve the iPhone.

Hence my question:
Is there a way to produce the cloud download link for a given file in the iCloud folder directly on the Mac, e.g. via AppleScript or via the terminal?
Is anybody aware of an already existing script (or a OSX app) that can do this?
