I found a weird thing about iCloud. I installed an app on iPhone. The app created a new folder in iCloud drive and stored the setting file in it. The folder and its content can be seen in Files.app. But I can not see it in iCloud Drive on my mac.

In "System Preference"--"iCloud"--"Manage"(right below the window), there is setting data for the app. So I suppose it's synced to iCloud now. But in ~\Library\Mobile/ Documents/, no such folder.

  • I've tried create folder in iOS Files.app and it's synced to Mac immediately. The converse direction works fine too. So I think the network is not the problem.
  • I've tried close iCloud Drive on Mac(deleted all the files) and re-enable it and download the files.
  • I've tried `killall bird` , deleted CloudDocs and restart the mac to resync all the content.
  • I've tried `/usr/sbin/ckksctl reset; /usr/sbin/ckksctl status` and `/usr/sbin/ckksctl fetch`.
  • I've contact the app developer. There is another user encounter the same situation. But others work fine.

No luck yet.

Any other suggestion?
