Hi,

Hoping someone can help, as I have been racking my brains about this.

Mac mini M1 and I am running out of disk space.
Looking at what is taking up the space, and iCloud Drive on Finder is showing 159GB being used.
When I look at each folder, and file, it adds up to no more than 10gb.
I have removed all downloads from each folder.

Anyone know how to remedy this?

TIA

Looks like you have "Desktop and Documents Folders" turned on in Settings > iCloud > iCloud Drive and don't have "Optimize Mac Storage" turned on.

Files are syncing to iCloud, but still keeps a full local copy on the Mac. Turn on Optimize and the Mac will start removing the local copy of "old" files when space is needed.
