    Hey There!

I have been an advocate for iCloud drive since the beginning and have been using it without any issues for last few months.

Today I received my new Macbook Retina in gold and assumed the migration from iCloud drive would be as simple as a login. Well it was almost...

It appears that some files on my MacBook air are missing from my new MacBook. As you can see with the below screenshots....

Evidently its only a small proportion of the files, none the less the MacBook air has 7,876 files whilst the new machine has 7677.

I have checked both to see if there's any activity with the cloud agent, but nothing.

How can I determine where the issue is? Are files failing to upload from the Air or are files failing to download for iCloud? :(

This scares me. I moved from Google Drive (well, Google EVERYTHING) over to iCloud everything. I am starting to wondering if I have made a mistake.

Indeed me too. Its terrifying. I was tempted just to move everything over to Google Drive.

But I've done some further digging. By comparing folder by folder on each Mac I have identified where some files are missing. After checking on iCloud.com it appears these files have been uploaded.

Which indicates for some reason the rMP is failing to download them. Unless this is of course just a one off.... I don't fancy looking for all the files missing and checking...
