Hi there

I'm wondering if anyone can help me.

I can't login in to me iCloud email on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, it says incorrect username/password. I know the password is right (I can login on my iPad and an internet browser).

I've tried different email apps from the Play Store, but no success. I've also done a fair bit of research online, including manually entering the settings from the Apple website, but still no success.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but thought i'd share - I created a google account using my iCloud email address as the username, I was wondering if this may have confused anything.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Did you set up your iCloud account with two-factor authentication? You didn't indicate whether it's "on" or "off", depending on which OS you used to set up your account.

If it is active, you will likely need to log into your iCloud account and set up an app-specific password for each non-Apple app that you're using to access iCloud services, using your full Apple ID as your username and the app-specific password to log in from your S7. Your iPad's apps get a "pass" on this as it's an Apple-made app set...

This new bit tripped me up with MS Outlook the first time I set it up. An alternative is to disable two-factor authentication, but not a bit that I recommend...
