iCloud email works with iChat ?

Hi guys,

My question is, I created a @me.com email with iCloud, so I was trying to see if with that email I can use it to chat through iChat but when I add it it give me an error.... why is that ? it should work since its an @me.com email !!... any idea of why ?

because it's an iCloud one, not a MobileMe and there's problems using iCloud for FaceTime, iMessage and to use it as an Apple ID, which means it will also have an issue with iChat.

iCloud data is prone to deletion during Beta (as stated in the Dev notes), so it's not going to work until official release (or maybe GM).
