iCloud functionality with iOS4?

I had iOS5 GM. Honestly, i'm not keen on some of the things they've added.

I'm very happy with how my phone is at the moment.

Of course, with upgrading to iOS 5 I had to transition MobileMe to iCloud.

Now i've downgraded to 4 again, mobileme (obviously) won't sync, and as far as i'm aware there's no way to add calendar/email syncing with iOS4.

Anyone have any tips or ideas? Do you think they'll add the functionality in a .x update? 😱

Nope. You want iCloud, you need iOS5. Apple's way of encouraging progress... 😀

i'd be more than happy if they downgraded me again to mobileme, until june (when it expires). Either way, it looks like i've lost calendars/email etc.

Sorry, iCloud is iOS 5 only. You didn't have to transition either. It was an option.

It wasn't really an option at the time, either move or not and lose syncing.
I wasn't expecting iOS5 to suck for me.

I'm using iOS 5 and didn't transition to iCloud. My devices are synching with iCloud and MobileMe simultaneously.

ouch, i must've done something i shouldn't have then. to be fair, i didn't expect to be downgrading though 😛
