Hop someone can help me!
I found a iphone 5 two weeks ago and it only had 1% of battery. In about 30 minutes the iphone shut off. after a week i came to portugal. the phone was found in denmark. i was wondering if somebody could help me how to pass the icloud loggin because i formated the phone but the guy used some app and said the phone was been lost but now im not going back so mine as well keep the phone and working.

The owner of the phone used iCloud lock so that no one will ever be able to use the phine if stolen or lost.

In fairness the owner doesn't need to do anything except log into iCloud and enable Find iPhone. This is one of the better software decisions Apple have made recently. Good to see activation lock working as it was built to do,

It's an un by passable security feature where the true owner has locked their phone from cretins like you.

So your friends told you not to bother handing it in to the police and keep it? Do you always do as your friends tell you?

Hand it into the police or ask us how you can locate it's true owner to return it to them rather than asking how you can defeat the security.

If you don't understand, the cool thing to do, would be to try and return the phone ... then you will never grasp onto the fact, the owner of the phone doesn't want the vermin who stole his phone to benefit from their dishonesty.
