Hi all

Wonder if anyones experienced this before - the MacBook Pro in my signature keeps turning off iCloud Keychain every few days. I have to turn it back on (which takes ages)

I also get a message about having to update iCloud settings > when I click that, it prompts me to log in again but not to change any settings.

The weirdest thing is that this is happening on the same MacBook Pro even after a complete disk wipe and reinstall. Works perfectly on my iMac.

Anyone got any ideas for a fix?

Yesterday I got a similar message from Mojave on my 2017 iMac. No clue why or what it actually meant. Fumbled around for a few minutes logging into iCloud, but all the settings seemed to be OK. The message and instructions didn't seem to make much sense. Something about Keychain. Haven't seen anything unusual today, so hoping it was a one-time glitch of some sort.

To use iCloud Keychain you must enable Two-Factor authentication. That's the only thing it might ask of you that I can think.
"If you're not using two-factor authentication, you may be prompted to create an iCloud Security Code – which can be six digits, complex alphanumerics or randomly generated – to authorise additional devices and verify your identity. If you have forgotten your code, you may be able to reset it."
