I am on 10.9.2. There used to be an option in Safari to force the items to be saved to iCloud Keychain even if the website didn't want to. This option appears to be gone. Any workarounds?

There was some discussion about this when 10.9.2 came out and the consensus was that is now on by default.

Thanks. Is there a way to manually enter the data into iCloud Keychain? It doesn't offer to suggest or a save a password for this site (not this actual site).

I know on MacRumors if you entered the PW then hit command-r to refresh the page it would ask if you wanted to save the password. Maybe this same work around would work for you on other sites.

Keychain Help please!

I have the same issue with keychain ..after installing maverick update my Macbook pro has the spinning "beachball" running everytime I run chrome and it says chrome"unexpectedly unresponsive" and i have to reboot or turn it off and restart again.

Anyone els have this issue and I tried to reset the keychain but must of been locked out cause I tried the password too often....any suggestions please

Some say the hard drive is going bad and some said I have to get a new hard drive.

Who really knows what can I cdo to restore it before Mavericks update...or is Apple going to have a fix for this terrible update.

Seaneminence

thank you all

Thanks. I'll be sure to attempt this later.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. I typed my info into the page and then reloaded it. Didn't ask to save my information. Any other ideas?

This just dawned on me now. This site uses a 'username', a pin code, and a password. That is probably why iCloud Keychain isn't working with the site. I'm not sure that it has support for a set-up like this?

LastPass doesn't even have support for that yet. I think it's because they both see the PIN and passwords as seperate logins rather than one unified login. I know on sites where you enter the username on one screen then the password on another (most banking sites are set up like that) both LastPass and Keychain process it like any other username/password login.

Yeah. I kinda figured this was it. If only my bank was set up like that. Haha.
