After the 8.3 and the Yosemite update, the photo library was enabled, which I only found out, because my iPhone gave the message that there was not enough storage space left. So I went to the settings and disabled the iCloud photo library, but it only removed a few hundred pictures from my phone, but I'm still stuck with 10k+ which take up a lot of space.

iTunes shows only 1,5 gigs of photos on my phone, but the 'Other' part shows 28 gigs.

Did you guys have this problem and a found a solution for it? I have tried enabling and disabling the library option, without result.
