A "proud" one percenter over here too! I am expecting an important email currently and am wondering if it will be there when the servers get fixed. I tried to send an email from another account to my iCloud account and it is not returned to the sending account, hopefully those mails won't be lost.

All good here. Thankfully.

This is precisely why I hesitate relying 100% on iCloud mail.
What, do you mean that there are services out there that do not have outages? Or do you mean you have a backup email account? If the latter, I have four email accounts but basically only use the icloud account for personal and a work provided account for work. the other two (gmail and yahoo are basically dormant accounts).

Another 1% here. Unlikely odds are usually on on my side when it's for something bad. :(

I can use Notes, just that it doesn't sync over iCloud.
I really hope I don't lose my notes, as last night I wrote a huge To-Do List plus important planning Information.

Only had one outage with gmail in who knows how many years. I'd prefer all Apple, but they're just not reliable enough.

Working perfectly for me. I can't remember ever suffering an iCloud outage, and that's incredibly impressive. I found Google and Microsoft services to be far more unreliable.

I was able to jumpstart sync of my Note by using Handoff on another iPad.
After that, the note started to sync between the two iPads and my Mac.

Or just simple coincidence? I see all the Notes started to update on the third iPad just now.

Eh, Hotmail was having problems for a good portion of the day yesterday such that messages sent to hotmail.com/msn.com addresses were bouncing back to the sender as "Service Unavailable". These things happen.
