I am trying to block scam/junk mail without success. All the emails originate in Russia with an .ru extension. I want to block all email from Russia period. I don't nor do I ever expect to buy, order or shop online from Russia. How can I do this? TIA

In this case, you need to use server-side rules

Depending on your e-mail provider, you should be able to set up a rule in a browser (eg gmail.com, iCloud.com, etc). They all have rules editors where you can do things like “move any email to JUNK/SPAM where the sender’s address ends in ‘.ru’”

Defining these rules on the web means they automatically apply wherever you check your mail and you shouldn’t see them again.

Good luck!

Ya I thought so also but iCloud doesn't have a rule combination based on sender's address. Even the recipient rule is limited and doesn't work.

I you go to Mail at icloud.com you can add a rule like this that should work for you.
