Hi I am having complicated and bizarre iCloud issues
iCloud backup has stopped working on iPad and iPhone
iCloud Photo Library has stopped uploading downloading photos
Pages documents not syncing between devices.

Here's the strange bit iCloud seems to work on cellular, as in pages documents will sync on cellular. Which led me to wonder if it was wifi problem but my dads phone backs up no problem via wifi. Wifi seems to work for everything else

Help!!

**** happens, cloud services go down.

This is why I always recommend people have a full copy of their data, along with a backup. Never 100% depend on the cloud; only treat it as a syncing solution, and an additional backup.

Hopefully it's all working by now. :)

A reason why i dont use icloud for backuping important data and when i need a cloud, i use Google Drive - never let me down.

More than likely there are similar anecdotal stories with people having similar types of issues with Google Drive (or basically any other cloud storage service) as described in this thread.

I realize you never let an opportunity pass to pump Google, but I don't think one user having a wifi sync problem equals iCloud being unreliable.

I haven't had any issues, and there would be dozens of posts about this if it was a wider problem.

I have also had MAJOR ISSUES, since the update. Some apps update and some don't.

Also FaceTime stopped working. I've been troubleshooting it for days, including a complete restore and am thinking about restore as new iPad.

Right now I've turned off sync to some apps to see if that'll fix it.

So it seems that slowly my iCloud services are coming back online. Frustrating because iv been troubleshooting for days and I thinks it's an issue on there end that has been resolved
