I really hope us Mobile Me Subscribers get iCloud for free for the rest of our subscription. We pay $100.00 for services that I hear will be free in the future so I think we are entitled to something.

I'm currently on a trial for Mobileme and like the service, but if the price doesn't drop after Monday then I'll just stick with Gmail. I seriously doubt that iCloud would be free for current subscribers. I see Apple doing exactly what they did with Mobileme, free trial then charge for the service.

You're not 'entitled' to anything. You pay $100 for MobileMe, and that's what you receive.

However, what Apple ultimately does with MobileMe is yet to be seen.

I guess I meant more deserving than entitlement.

What if iCloud and Mobile Me are two different things?

I am kind of thinking that iCloud & MobileMe will be part of a revamped MobileMe system, especially with the rumors in the air MobileMe will be free.

You could be completely right, they may have nothing to do with each other, its just a hunch I have.
