Anyone else seeing this when trying to add music to their local device? I'm a previous iTunes Match subscriber but whenever I try to enable iCloud Music Libary in settings I see this error.

Thoughts?

no picture attached. But i guess its the same as me? "icloud-photo library cant be enabled"?

I managed to download a track with no problems, but my Match account was enabled before the update, and iCloud Music Library was auto active after the update. Match enabled before you updated?

trying to add playlists on Apple Music for offline listening etc. but I get a message saying iCloud music library needs to be enabled to do this.

When I try and enable it, I get an error saying it can't be enabled

Any ideas?

I'm trying to add music (that I haven't purchased from iTunes) to playlists, but every time I try to merge/replace my music library, it gives me an error message. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I'm getting the same thing - I also previously subscribed to iTunes Match. Any solutions as yet? I've no reason to subscribe to iTunes Match since every song except a handful is probably already on Apple Music.

I previously was using it but had switched over to spotify so hadn't opened the app for ages, not sure on the state of the settings... frustrating

Having the exact same issue (came here looking for someone else having this problem as well). Just updated to 8.4 on a 5s.

Having the same issue as people above. Every time I try to download a song it tells me to enable it, I got to do so, and it tells me it can't. I've tried merge and replace options, but nothing works.

I will say I don't have iTunes match.. and I wonder if that's what's causing the problem?

I believe it's something to do with our catalog of music on iTunes on pc/Mac.

I haven't used desktop iTunes in years, anyone know if there's some kind of setting that can be turned of so that iTunes kind of 'forgets' there's music there that isn't brought from iTunes?

I haven't updated any device besides my iPhone, so no iPad or computer is even logged in to Apple Music yet. I am getting the same issue. Here is a pic.

The only difference for me is that I don't have Apple Music enabled (i'm not bothering signing up etc because iTunes Match is fine for me), iCloud Music is enabled and i'm able to download for offline listening fine.

My 'iTunes Match' working settings if that helps anyone at all...

it seems to be working for me now. Try restarting your phone. that is what i did

even if I disable show Apple music, it still doesn't let me enable iCloud Music sharing...

think Apple missed something here. hopefully won't require an update to be fixed.

Apple music is utterly useless without offline listening for people who have to ride the subway.

I see some of you saying it's not working for offline playlists. I'm not even trying to get anything offline yet. I just want to save an album to my music for online streaming. even that isn't working.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Not currently using iTunes Match, just have a local library synced to my iPhone.

both features are enabled by the same "iCloud music sharing" setting

It took a couple of restarts but it started working on the phone and songs seem to by working fine offline. No such luck on the iPad yet, servers must be getting slammed.
