iCloud not letting me turn off contacts

Hi, anyone having issues trying to turn off their contacts in iCloud?

i had contact overload and trying to simplify contacts between my devices; and i selected to turn off contacts Settings...

It has been on the busy pop up for hours (as in 6+).

any fixes or help appreciated.

It's likely not working... Press the home button to try to exit out, or just restart the device. (Hold home and standby)

Did do that... gave up... doing a restore.

seems to have been the fix... another post had a link to a macworld link... i agree with the author of that article... something with the contacts seems to be a bug.
