iCloud Icloud not syncing new photos?

I bought a new iphone13 and used quick start. I am also on ios16. My photos, vids aren’t syncing to icloud. It’s like they are stuck or getting stuck.

Any thoughts? And sorry I have no idea where to post.

In the Photos > Library > All Photos view at the bottom, what does the sync status show? And don't worry about where to post a dual category question. iOS Apps would have been OK too but iCloud is just as good.

Thank u! I didnt want anyone freaking out that I didn’t post in the proper spot. Some forums are like that. It looks like it finally did its syncing but seemed awfully long. Does syncing only occur over wifi?

It depends on whether you have the Cellular Data settings in the Photo app enabled.
