Hi, I haven't used iCloud photo library in the past largely because my library is very large (around 90gb), and so I would need to pay for additional iCloud storage. However, with the iCloud price decrease, 200gb is now a bit more affordable - $2.99/mo, which is less than I pay for CrashPlan ($5/mo) for -- arguably, perhaps -- more functionality. In any case I have had a couple of concerns about iCloud photo library in the past, partially the price, which have kept me from using it. However, I am also concerned about how the new "faces" feature works when syncing an iCloud photo library between devices. It's my understanding that most -- if not all -- of the image recognition and analysis is being done locally. So if this is the case, if you tell Photos on your phone that two faces are the same person, will this data be synced to your Mac as well? Or will you have to do it all over again?
