Hello all! Well I finally activated iCloud photo library on my iPhone and mac but I must say that I am quite confused about a few things:

1. Seems it doesn't work with referenced files so I had to consolidate those referenced files. Does that mean that the files are still in the folders I assigned them to? What exactly does consolidating do to the photo files?
2. This one is driving me nuts! I uploaded all of my mac photos to the iCloud photo library yet how do I view those photos on my iPhone? For that matter, how do I view iCloud photos on my mac? Please help!
3. Finally, the upload process on my iPhone is painfully slow! Is this normal?

Thank you!

2: If you have turned on iCloud photo library on your iPhone, just open photos and they should be there. On your mac, open Apple Photos (were you uploaded your photos in the first place).

3: Yes, iCloud is painfully slow.
