I have been trying to explore iCloud's photo stream, mostly so I can integrate it with my ATVs.

Unfortunately, it seems really slow to buffer to the ATV, making it rather useless for full-size photo storage. Photo files are between 2MB and 5MB.

It takes ages to generate thumbnails and there is a very noticeable lag when going through photos.

I do have a 100mbps connection (it actually tests as about 110 on speedtest.net), so this should not be the problem.

Kind of wonder if the Apple TV 3 itself may be the culprit, since on my Mac iCloud appears to be almost instantaneous?

Anyone else experiencing this and has someone figured out a solution.
