I'm trying to get iCloud drive and Photos working on windows but I am having some sort of issue.

I am getting very high network, hard drive, and CPU utilization by iCloud processes, but I don't seem to have any of the data.

I have been running this for a week now, iCloud drive is constantly using 1.6-40Mbps network, 20-50% CPU utilization (i5 4690) and over the past week it downloaded only 2gb (out of ~50gb) worth of files for iCloud drive and ONLY 5 photos out of the over 7,000.

Again, this kind of utilization has been constant for a week, but nothing changes. At this point I am concerned that this kind of constant use of the hard drive is going to destroy the SSD. According to Windows, iCloud has used 135gb in network over the past week.

I disabled Photos and iCloud Drive today, the 5 photos didn't disappear, but the Drive data was gone. And I'm trying again, it's been a few hours and I have downloaded over 12gb. I don't have a single thing to show for this. Not a single file beyond the 5 photos.

Latest versions of everything, everything updated.
