Hello everyone,

I have an IPhone and an Ipad and have switched on ICloud Photo on both of them, so all the photos are uploaded to ICloud and I can see all the photos on both devices.

Is there a way - for instance when I am on my IPad - to say "show me only the photos that have been taken on this device (but not the ones taken on my iPhone)"?

I am just curious if this is possible, mainly because I have taken thousands of photos with my Iphone and only a few with my IPad, so searching for a particular IPad photo may be easier if I can select to show only the photos on the IPad.

Any help and insight would be very much apprecieated (let me know if the description above wasn't clear).

Thank you!
Robert

You can create a Smart Album on macOS with a filter on device used for the photo (using it for my scanner) :

But on iOS, it doesn't exist...
I think about Shortcuts but found no filter for the device in the search tools. Have to wait for iOS15 in order to see if it's better

Thanks so much! Yes, indeed, let's see if this will be possible in iOS15, when it comes out next week.
