iCloud question

Hi All

Since the iOS8 update I have become more interested in icloud

Basically I don't want all the options checked in the icloud options list, mainly because it confuses me........

So if I simply leave Backup on and go into icloud options and click back up every now and then is this enough? will everything be saved? I simply want a complete back up of my phone which I can control and access if needed

You don't need to go into settings all the time, it will backup itself automatically every day when its charging.
