Icloud rented movies

Hi,

I rented a movie through my iPhone 5 and expected to see it through my Apple TV in the purchased tab under rentals. This works for purchases but I wanted to know why not for rented films?

I air played the movie but I find the movies I air play are very laggy and when the movie came to the final scene (The Shining) it just stopped so that's why I hate air playing because either my Sky Modem is rubbish or I have done something wrong!

Any ideas as to why and any thoughts on how to make air play better?

I don't know about apple tv, but when you rent a movie via iTunes, you can only have it on one device. You have to physically sync the phone and move it to your computer. From there you may be able to move it to your apple tv but since I don't own an apple tv, I'm not completely sure about that step.
