So in the coming weeks ill be replacing my iPhone 5 for a iPhone 6 or 6 Plus and am planning on doing a iCloud restore. My question is, all that I want to restore is all of my texting conversations. I want to start over in terms of applications and other things. Is there anyway I can just restore my texts and nothing else or is it all or none?

Delete everything else before you do your final iCloud backup on the iPhone 5. A backup will restore everything and you can't just select texts.
