iCloud restore question

I’m thinking about getting the 8 Plus, currently have a 7 which I’ve had for 4 months. My first iPhone after forever owning Androids.
Anyway the question, if I iCloud backup the 7 then iCloud restore to a 8 Plus will all the photos still be in their originally created albums as on my 7 now ?
I have several handfuls of created albums on my 7. Thanks.

Yes. It will look just like your 7.

What doc said.

All of your photos, apps (including home screen layouts), notes, reminders, settings, ringtones, wallpaper, everything... it will be exactly the same. You’ll just be on newer hardware.

But you should be sure you’re actually backing up everything you want, first. I always just check everything to on.
