Trying out Apple Music at the moment with iCloud Library enabled. I am also a former iTunes Match customer (did not review the subscription). Now it seems that iTunes changed the iCloud status of almost all my "matched" ACC Audio files (over 2500 - purchased from other sources or imported from CDs) to "Apple Music" (the same status that is used for the DRMed "Apple Music ACC Audio" files). All the files I purchased via iTunes ("Purchased ACC audio file") kept their iCloud status "purchased".

Is that something I need to worry about? There are quite some reports out there about people who got parts of their files replaced by DRMed files. It seems to me that iTunes did only change the iCloud status tags in my case. The still show as "Matched ACC audio file". I still can play the "matched" files with iCloud status "Apple Music" outside iTunes (tested some random songs with VLC - DRMed "Apple Music ACC files" do no play in VLC). So they don't seem to be DRMed files.

I have also updated to the lated iTunes version 12.2.2.25 and logged out and back into my account, disabled and re-enabeld iCloud Library... but with no effect.

I do have a backup of my Music library before activating Apple Music. Does it make sense to delete my iTunes music library on my hard drive and start over with the backup? Or will iTunes then change the status to "Apple Music" again? Is this just how it is supposed to be?
