Is there any way to export all of the conversations from iCloud/Messages before deleting them?

Found a workaround here:

"I noted above that adding Terminal.app to the System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Full Disk Access list was a workaround"

With this I was able to locate a good chunk of the messages in the sqlite database + attachments by searching for the various /Library/Messages directories.

Officially no. Through 3rd party apps who knows.
