iCloud storage bump-is there a confirmed date for new levels?

I've got one the early 25 gig tariffs, which I gather is going to be increased to 50 gig?

I'm just wondering if anyone has seen anything concrete about when the allowances will increase?

Usually, when they announce something like that it is effective immediately.
What are they waiting for?

Read above. The new prices are part of iOS 9, so Wednesday.

I'm hoping Wednesday will also bring the increased limits to iCloud music storage.

According to an Apple Support Rep, 25th September. But then again, they probably have as much info as we do.

The same thing happened when they changed the pricing for iCloud in iOS8. It went into effect with the public release of iOS8. Don't see this one being any different. There's no need to wait until the 25th because it's not exclusive to the new iPhones.
